Field notes
The welcome screen pairs NPR headlines with local news and weather areas, and identifies Open-Meteo as the weather source. Account creation asks for a US ZIP code alongside a screen name, recovery email, and password. The page says the code is being prepared for open-source release; it also warns that password recovery is unavailable until SMTP is configured.
