The forecast combines public weather, tide, river, and astronomical data with heuristic estimates for ocean colour, turbidity, and chlorophyll. Clear-sky VIIRS water clarity is a separate display, and DiveVis says later forecast days have lower confidence. Its map also labels depth contours approximate and not for navigation.
