Gosforth Skies develops astrophotography
A specialist service that turns raw frames from smart telescopes and astro cameras into finished astrophotography, with prints also available.
- For
- Smart-telescope and astro-camera owners
- Worth noticing
- Cloudy frames are screened out before stacking; prices are quoted per target, and the page says no processing software purchase is needed.
Field notes
Customers submit raw frames from smart telescopes or dedicated astro cameras; the operator screens out cloudy exposures, stacks usable data, then processes the image. The gallery pairs finished images with capture notes, including equipment, filters, exposure totals and, for selected examples, dates and locations. Prints use the operator’s own captures from Tyneside, Northumberland and Cumbria alongside Telescope Live material; the page says that subscription data cannot be processed for customers under its licence.
