- For
- Vinyl listeners who want credits and lyrics at the turntable
- Worth noticing
- It can follow a record track by track, even when Shazam does not recognize a song, and signals when it is time to flip.
Field notes
The setup instructions recommend a line from a phono preamp, while also allowing a microphone or phone microphone to listen. The page attributes recognition to Shazam and credits album information to Apple Music, Deezer, MusicBrainz, and Discogs; lyrics come from LRCLIB and lyrics.ovh. It also lists optional functions such as Last.fm scrobbling, Spotify saving, and stylus-hour tracking.
