PedalCraft puts smart-trainer riding in a browser
PedalCraft lets riders connect a smart trainer and Zwift Click in Chrome or Edge for a free ride, with a separate paid Mac app for workouts and ride logging.
- For
- Indoor cyclists with a Bluetooth smart trainer
- Worth noticing
- The browser ride stores nothing after the tab closes; the Mac app keeps ride data locally and can upload to Strava.
Field notes
The browser ride connects to the trainer and shifter directly over Bluetooth; the page says users should quit Zwift on all devices before connecting. It distinguishes Zwift virtual shifting from grade-based gears on other Bluetooth FTMS trainers, and notes a Click v2 quirk: the easier button may pause briefly because the app restarts the left puck every 50 seconds. The Mac app stores rides locally, while the browser version keeps nothing after the tab closes.
