Field notes
The homepage organizes stories under Local News, Politics, Community, Editorials, Features, and Archives, with bylines and dates visible on story cards. One recurring fictional organization, P.A.J.A.M.A., is expanded as the Phillipsburg Association of Judgmental Adults Monitoring Absolutely-everything; other pieces turn road work, a bridge opening, and Facebook complaints into local punchlines. An editor's note explicitly says the paper pokes fun at the town, its politics, its people, and itself.
