Visual Pinball Infinite bundles a pinball engine with the workshop around it
A free, open-source Windows app that plays Visual Pinball X tables and brings table management, screen setup, file matching, media creation, and a Virtual Pinball Spreadsheet browser into one program.
- For
- Visual Pinball X players managing tables, ROMs, and multi-screen cabinets
- Worth noticing
- It previews where files will go before moving them and works with existing VPX and PinUP Popper folders.
Field notes
The Windows download is described as including the first release; users supply their own tables and ROMs. The app reads existing VPX tables, ROMs, backglasses, and PinUP packs without requiring folders to move, and can place generated media where PinUP Popper expects it. Its file matcher accepts downloads, ZIP, 7-Zip, and RAR archives, shows proposed destinations before moving files, and links table metadata to the Virtual Pinball Spreadsheet.
