Brolly turns a spare tablet into a shared hallway display for the weather, nearby bike docks, and household Google Calendar events.

Landing page captured for the 2026-10-26 issue.

For: Households using a shared hallway tablet
Worth noticing: It can pin up to twelve bike docks; the board shows six, with a map for the rest.

Field notes

Setup starts with a home name and postcode, followed by dock selection and calendar connections. The homepage says a display pairs by scanning a code and stays on until unpaired. Bike data is attributed to TfL Open Data, while the weather can use the Met Office UK model or a user's DataHub key.
