BucketTreks compares the cost of big trips

Field notes

The homepage separates larger trips—such as safaris and expedition cruises—from classic multi-day walks, and gives each category a route, operator count and median price. It says offers are compared on matching route, duration and inclusions, with self-drive rentals kept on a separate per-vehicle basis. A price index is presented with seven- and 30-day movement and monthly snapshots; the site also states that prices older than 14 days are flagged.
