Ingegnara’s Field Notes on Mechanical Beasts
A promotional page for a planned action RPG set in a fictional 1510 republic, where players hunt wooden-and-brass machines and uncover their maker’s notes.
- For
- Players drawn to illustrated action-RPG worlds
- Worth noticing
- A sample field note is labeled page 41 and dates Cavallo Aratore’s drawing to winter 1489.
Field notes
The page frames its creature lore as surviving notes by Leandro, a maker who disappeared twenty years before the sample account. One entry labels the Cavallo Aratore as page 41, dates its drawing to winter 1489, and describes the machine still following a furrow in the Gherardini field. A separate interface sketch presents five selectable joints; the page describes breaking them as a route to a complete book page, rather than showing evidence of a playable release.
