O Grupo do Prédio: the apartment chat gets a new resident

Field notes

The building’s cast includes Dona Célia, who has lived there since it existed; Neide, known for sending a daily good-morning message; and Téo, who notices what others miss. The page also gives the setting tactile details: a beige intercom, a street-corner payphone, and a night porter. It says the capital is deliberately unnamed and warns that similarities to a reader’s own building chat are coincidental—“almost always.”
