A personal tracker maps a goal to hike and film every named trail in Olympic National Park and Olympic National Forest.

Landing page captured for the 2026-10-26 issue.
For
Olympic Peninsula hikers following named trails
Worth noticing
The 225-trail goal combines NPS and Forest Service routes with a few named AllTrails routes on national-forest land.

Field notes

The tracker splits its goal between 133 park trails and 92 forest trails, with the currently completed routes marked on a map that has satellite and topo views. Mileage and elevation are based on GPS data from hikes already completed, rather than estimates for the whole list. The project draws trail information from several named sources and says its scope could expand as more trails are confirmed.
