Potheon searches footage by remembered moments
A planned desktop tool for AMV and anime editors that searches video footage using descriptions of dialogue, visuals, characters, or mood.
- For
- AMV and anime video editors
- Worth noticing
- The advertised workflow includes minus-term exclusions, face grouping, lyrics-to-clip storyboards, and panels for Premiere Pro and After Effects.
Field notes
The proposed indexer runs in the background after folders are added; searches can combine dialogue, visual descriptions, and named faces, with minus terms to exclude unwanted contexts. A separate lyrics workflow is described as producing ordered candidate clips, while Premiere Pro and After Effects get panels and other editors use drag-and-drop or sequence export. The Windows 0.1.0 beta is not yet available; the page says models download on first use and macOS is planned later.
