YAT-YAS Association: an Alligator Marine legacy site
The YAT-YAS Association site documents the amphibious-vehicle Marine community, its LVT-to-ACV lineage, and plans for fellowship, a roster, and scholarships.
- For
- Alligator Marines, their families, and the amphibious tracks community
- Worth noticing
- Its motto is presented as the shared identity of the Assault Amphibian community, not a generic veterans tagline.
Field notes
The page organizes its material as numbered exhibits: a motto, an LVT-to-ACV lineage, and a fellowship section describing reunions, chapter gatherings, remembrance, and mutual support. Its announcements currently include placeholder entries for incorporation status, a founding roster, scholarship details, and a first gathering; the page says roster and program guidance will be added later. It also names 2d, 3d, and 4th Tracks as battalions within the lineage.
