Economic Data, with versions you can cite
A set of U.S. regional and international economic datasets, available as plain files and through a linked API.
- For
- Researchers, analysts, and data-driven developers
- Worth noticing
- Pinned URLs return fixed versions; failed validation keeps the last known-good release live.
Field notes
Dataset notes preserve important breaks and caveats rather than smoothing them away: ACS household-income releases use overlapping five-year periods and release-specific inflation-adjusted dollars, while county income is in current dollars. LAUS documents the October 2025 shutdown gap as null with footnote X, and QCEW explains its Connecticut geography change from legacy counties to planning regions. Each listing names its source and license, including commercial-use status.
