Hearth is a free group-chat space with voice, screen sharing, shared notes, customizable themes, and no-code bots.

Landing page captured for the 2026-10-27 issue.

For: Friend groups, clubs, and online communities
Worth noticing: The page says DMs are end-to-end encrypted once everyone is on version 1.36.2; servers are not encrypted.

Field notes

The feature list covers chat, voice, screen sharing, shared notes, themes, and block-based bots for welcomes, roles, and verification. The desktop link specifies Windows 10 and 11, a 113 MB download, and a portable version. Hearth's own privacy description draws a clear boundary: direct messages have encryption conditions tied to app versions, while servers remain unencrypted for moderation.
