Mon Djassa’s WhatsApp-first used-electronics market
A marketplace for buying and selling used phones, computers, and watches in Abidjan, with buyers contacting sellers directly on WhatsApp.
- For
- Used-electronics buyers and sellers in Abidjan
- Worth noticing
- The homepage displays three priced Abidjan listings and tells buyers to request a décharge and identity document when no verification badge appears.
Field notes
The homepage says sellers must open an account, while buyers can browse listings and start seller conversations through WhatsApp; it explicitly says the platform does not process payments. The visible shelf includes three Abidjan listings for used iPhones, priced at 45,000–115,000 F. A separate safety prompt tells buyers to request a décharge and identity document when a listing lacks a verification badge. The site says an administrator reviews listings before publication.
