Karoo Live: a ride link for the group
Karoo Live turns a Hammerhead Karoo ride into a shareable live view with a map and rider metrics.
- For
- Hammerhead Karoo riders and ride followers
- Worth noticing
- The page advertises three-second speed, power, cadence, and heart-rate updates, with elevation also listed in the ride display.
Field notes
The setup instructions point Karoo owners to install the app on their device, where the personal ride link is shown, including a QR code. A follower can open or paste that link, while a separate group-view route is offered. The page lists a ride-table option, route controls, and speed, power, heart-rate, cadence, and elevation fields; it describes the first four metrics as updating every three seconds. The captured page reported that its map could not load, so map operation is not confirmed by this snapshot.
