Remove IA Label: a metadata scrubber
Credibility concern recorded. The source reference remains available for verification and correction.
A free tool for inspecting and removing C2PA, EXIF, XMP, IPTC, and other metadata from photos without recompressing them.
- For
- People cleaning image metadata before posting
- Worth noticing
- It excludes GIFs and pixel-level marks such as SynthID; the site says platforms may still use other signals to detect AI content.
Field notes
The workflow separates inspection from cleaning: users can first check for C2PA, XMP, or IPTC data, then process files and download the result. The page lists a five-image, 100 MB batch limit and excludes GIFs. It says files are handled on its server and deleted after five minutes, and claims the image pixels remain unchanged; those operational claims are not independently verified here.
