- For
- Social dancers, dance students, and practice sessions
- Worth noticing
- The site says dance tracking, spin counts, reports, and trends work without Plus; song recognition is the subscription feature.
Field notes
The described setup asks dancers to choose a style and whether a session is a social, class, or practice, then start the workout from the watch. Sessions can also store venue and notes, while workouts go to Apple Health. Song recognition is separate from the core tracking features, and exporting recognised tracks to Apple Music has its own subscription requirement.
