- For
- Melodeon and button-accordion players working from ABC or MusicXML tunes
- Worth noticing
- Fingering is planned across the tune, and pinning a preferred note causes the rest to re-plan around it.
Field notes
The described workflow starts with a tune file and an instrument layout, including custom layouts for boxes that differ from the built-in examples. Fingering is planned for the tune as a whole; players can compare alternatives using bellows, row, and hand-movement costs, then pin a choice and re-plan. The page also describes hands-free practice controls and MusicXML export that places button fingering into a score.
