- For
- Shoppers looking for handmade plush creatures
- Worth noticing
- Mystery buyers choose the fur texture while K. Howell chooses the creature’s face.
Field notes
Checkout and adoption records are separate: buying a creature does not claim its record. Online buyers receive a private code when the package ships; in-person adopters get a card at handoff, then use the code to sign in, name an unnamed creature, and access certificates or coloring pages. The page says real catalog photography and details will replace its clearly labeled sample residents, and the certificate display is also still a placeholder.
