Atchin Tan: a map for Traveller families
An in-development, community-built map project for authorised Traveller sites, transit pitches and welcoming parks in England and Wales.
- For
- Gypsy, Roma and Irish Traveller families
- Worth noticing
- The planned map will label entries Official, Community verified or Unverified; the homepage itself contains no site listings.
Field notes
The planned listing model distinguishes council sites, licensed private sites and parks whose owners have agreed to be included; each entry is meant to show stay limits, facilities, pitch count and contact details. Entries are to carry an Official, Community verified or Unverified label, and new submissions are described as requiring moderator review. The project says users could download an area for offline use, while warning that future information may be incomplete or outdated.
