Field notes
The record descriptions distinguish what different files can reveal: military registers may record languages, religion, education, and occupation, while property and tax material can add addresses, plot dimensions, room layouts, and details of family circumstances. The site also notes that some household lists survive as interwar Polish copies of earlier Russian Empire records, with some indexed by JewishGen and similar sites.
