Editorial interest 84/100 Selection signal · not a rating of the site

An Android app for remotely controlling supported HF radios, with FT8, JS8Call, waterfall, and logging features built in.

Landing page captured for the 2026-10-28 issue.

For: Amateur-radio operators using supported HF rigs
Worth noticing: The page says decoding happens on the phone, and a one-operator lock prevents two devices from controlling the rig at once.

Field notes

The setup pairs an Android device with a small Windows program on the PC connected to the radio; the page says access can be over home Wi-Fi or through Tailscale. Listed functions include FT8 decoding with SNR and duplicate-station flags, JS8Call messaging, and contact export in ADIF format. The page identifies the IC-7300 MK2 and Xiegu G90 as supported profiles, with more described as forthcoming.
