Worth noticing
The Stone Hill Estates example omits a 10-year overbank check because its cited manual example does not publish a 10-year storm depth.

Field notes

The worked Stone Hill Estates example uses the NYSDEC January 2015 manual’s own inputs: a 5.50-inch, 100-year, 24-hour NRCS Type II storm. Its checks include water-quality volume, channel protection, peak flow, and freeboard, with cited manual sections and explicit thresholds; the page also explains why the manual’s example cannot support a 10-year overbank check. The sample is marked PRELIMINARY, and reference tables are still being checked against printed sources.
