Comboo: a spoken offer comparator for gig drivers
Comboo presents an Android app that compares incoming Uber, Bolt, Heetch, and Deliveroo offers by estimated hourly or per-kilometre earnings, then reads the leading option aloud.
- For
- VTC drivers and app-based couriers
- Worth noticing
- The homepage says offer data stays on the phone; its displayed comparison is labeled illustrative, with fictional amounts.
Field notes
The page describes configurable thresholds and filters, including return-home trips, shared rides, multiple stops, and zones to avoid. It says the app identifies whether someone is a VTC driver, a courier, or both based on the apps installed on their phone. The homepage also states that offer data is processed locally and that Comboo does not accept rides on the user’s behalf; these are site claims rather than independently verified app behavior.
