A tea party for coding agents
Ely Tea Party is a free, open-source native terminal that turns Claude Code, Codex, Gemini and other coding-agent sessions into animated characters, alongside tools for managing sessions, Git, files and usage.
- For
- Developers running multiple coding-agent sessions
- Worth noticing
- Agent hooks can add file and command details; Windows currently works as a terminal but does not identify agent roles.
Field notes
Agent sessions appear as animated characters, each with a current task; optional hooks make status details more precise, including files being edited and commands being run. The app places a terminal, Git staging and diffs, a file tree, an activity timeline, and selected Claude Code and Codex usage quotas beside the session list. macOS and Linux support role recognition; the Windows build currently works as a terminal without identifying agents. Users can also import character images or .elyskin packs.
