Field notes

The page explains the movement rule: speed and distance from location fixes determine whether the device is moving or parked, with a stop timeout before the slower parked interval takes over. Its calculator states assumptions for batching, record size, and HTTP headers, while excluding motion-change fixes, TLS, and app-specific extras. Battery figures are marked as estimates until device measurements are available.
