- For
- Readers of botanical satire and tree portraiture
- Worth noticing
- Profiles give each tree a germination year, leaf status, heraldic motto, and a very specific social grievance.
Field notes
The page organizes its invented tree society into a House, peerage, family tree, heraldry, commissions, and letters. Profiles combine horticultural details such as germination dates and leaf status with social distinctions: one tree’s record leaf-holding date lasted eleven seasons, while another is still growing with its training stake. The site also links to photographic credits and licences.
