Rink puts a floorball scoreboard on a Garmin watch
A Garmin watch app for tracking floorball scores and match time, with separate modes for players and timekeepers.
- For
- Amateur floorball players and match timekeepers
- Worth noticing
- A goal against a short-handed team ends its least-remaining penalty automatically; with a 2+2 penalty, only the running portion ends.
Field notes
In player mode, the watch tracks the period clock, heart rate and whether the wearer is on court or the bench; a goal can be logged for either side, with a prompt for the scorer and assist. The timekeeper mode includes clock correction and undo, and the page describes how penalties behave in situations such as coincidental penalties and penalty shots. The site identifies the IFF rules as its basis while explicitly stating that the app is not affiliated with or endorsed by the federation.
