Field notes
The House Rules panel lets players choose a preset, edit its values, and save a family-specific version. The reference also spells out details that can vary at the table, including meld thresholds by team score and how threes count when a partnership fails to make two canastas. A play note adds a 100-point dealer-team bonus when the deal comes out to an exact 13×4 split.
