- For
- Apple Home users who want to test automation rules
- Worth noticing
- A sample hall-light rule is replayed at 6:12 pm and 9:05 pm, showing why motion before sunset does nothing.
Field notes
The example traces one hall-light rule through a simulated evening: motion at 6:12 pm is ignored because sunset has not occurred, while motion at 9:05 pm turns on the lamp until 9:15 pm. The site says the helper extends rules with waits, notifications, and date ranges, and can keep them running when ZoxoHome is closed.
