Nod on the Go puts Claude Code prompts on your wrist
Nod presents a Mac-and-Apple-Watch companion for answering Claude Code permission prompts, questions, and finished-session messages away from the terminal.
- For
- Claude Code users with an Apple Watch
- Worth noticing
- The watch signs each answer with an Ed25519 key; the relay can read prompts while they are held in memory.
Field notes
Setup is a Mac agent that installs Claude Code hooks, then pairs with an Apple Watch using a six-digit code and a four-word comparison. Away mode starts after ten idle minutes or can be switched on from the watch; when checks fail or time runs out, the prompt returns to the terminal rather than approving silently. The page also names an important boundary: prompts are protected in transit but are not end-to-end encrypted, and the relay can read them while held in memory.
