A public tracker for U.S. job ads and layoff filings in games, animation, and VFX.

Landing page captured for the 2026-11-01 issue.
For
U.S. games, animation, and VFX workers
Worth noticing
It separates job-board ads from hires, government industry totals, and layoff filings—and leaves unavailable figures blank rather than zero.

Field notes

The dashboard takes a once-daily snapshot of job ads and distinguishes the check date from the date a studio posted the listing; a disappearing ad is not treated as a layoff. Its map uses the city named in each ad, not a verified office location, and its curated list of ATS coverage gaps warns that smaller studios may also be absent. Current sections still show collection or loading states.
