Cressida Wren’s Manners-Powered Mystery Kingdom
An author page introduces a cozy romantasy series where magic runs on manners, with locked-room mysteries, romance, and a distinctly opinionated canal dragon.
- For
- Readers of cozy romantasy and comic fantasy
- Worth noticing
- The newsletter promises no more than one or two emails monthly and a free story once it has been written.
Field notes
The homepage lays out three planned books in the Impeccable Inquisitor series, with separate case premises and release windows: January 15, 2027, then spring and summer 2027. The author bio names influences from Wodehouse and Pratchett to the inventor of the Victoria sponge, and describes an interest in fictional incompetence and sincerity. The newsletter promises occasional dispatches and a free story once it has been written; the page does not show a purchase flow.
