- For
- Home gardeners and landscape designers measuring site light
- Worth noticing
- The page specifies five-minute-step solar calculations, seasonal checkpoints, and branded PDF reports comparing multiple spots.
Field notes
The page describes two ways to map obstructions: paint trees and rooflines onto a sky chart, or trace them over photos with a guided sweep following the sun’s arc. It says calculations use five-minute steps and offers seasonal checkpoints at the solstices and equinoxes. Spots can be grouped under a property or client, with the option to export a combined report comparing them.
