A service manual, rearranged into its own clickable parts map
DeviceAnatomy is a beta tool for biomedical and maintenance technicians that presents a manual’s parts as a clickable exploded view, cited parts list, and page-grounded Q&A.
- For
- Biomedical and plant-maintenance technicians handling unfamiliar equipment
- Worth noticing
- The site says it deletes uploaded PDFs after processing but retains extracted parts rows, figures, and page text privately for the user.
Field notes
The public demo pairs a parts list with an exploded view: selecting a callout reveals its part number, description, and manual page, while selecting a row jumps to the corresponding figure location. Its V-200 pump and part numbers are explicitly made up, so the example demonstrates the interface rather than a real device. The page says uncertain extraction is flagged rather than guessed, and that PDFs are deleted after processing while derived material remains private.
