QChat is a small Windows chat bar that opens over other apps and uses your existing ChatGPT or Gemini sign-in.

Landing page captured for the 2026-11-02 issue.

For: Windows users switching between work and AI chat
Worth noticing: The feature list includes selected-text prompts, window snapshots, up to ten attachments per message, and local chat search.

Field notes

The tour lays out a keyboard-first workflow: Alt+Q opens the bar, Ctrl+Alt+Q brings in selected text, and Ctrl+P searches chats on the PC and, the page says, the account. It also describes attaching a snapshot of the window behind the bar and dropping in up to ten files per message. The download is listed as free for Windows 10 and 11; the site says QChat uses existing ChatGPT or Gemini sign-ins rather than API keys.
