Film Kit puts the mag card on screen
A browser-based camera report for crews shooting 16mm, 35mm, and other analog formats, with a free mag-card tool and production-planning features in beta.
- For
- 16mm and 35mm camera crews
- Worth noticing
- The free mag-card workflow works offline; the script, stripboard, call-sheet, and scheduling modules remain in testing.
Field notes
The working mag-card demo records each take between Roll and Cut, updates the remaining footage in feet and frames for the selected gauge and stock, and produces a print-ready end-of-day table or CSV. The broader production planner is not presented as finished: Prep, script reading, stripboard, shot planning, call sheets, and day-running are marked “In testing, with access.” The maker says the beta was tested on Question 17, a five-day 35mm shoot using an Arricam pair.
