- For
- Mac users diagnosing intermittent home-network problems
- Worth noticing
- Its optional helper is presented as adding HomeKit and AirPlay device details, hardware addresses, and packet headers captured around problems.
Field notes
The page outlines measurements for Wi-Fi, the router, the ISP’s first hop, the wider internet, and DNS, then says the app assigns an incident to a likely fault layer. It also describes a local MCP server for Claude, Cursor, or Codex, running through the app without opening a network port. A separate free helper is presented as adding HomeKit and AirPlay device information and packet headers around problems; the App Store release is still marked “Coming soon.”
