Ilson is a free, open-source workspace for reading and editing PDFs and Korean HWP/HWPX documents in a browser or desktop app.

Landing page captured for the 2026-11-03 issue.

For: Korean users handling PDFs and HWP documents
Worth noticing: The page offers Windows, macOS, Linux, and iPhone/iPad routes, while plainly warning that desktop builds lack code signing.

Field notes

The feature list includes page-range selection using examples such as “1-3, 7,” plus signature images and a signing pad. Desktop instructions give separate installation guidance for Windows, macOS, and Linux, including workarounds for operating-system warnings. The iPhone/iPad route uses Safari’s Add to Home Screen flow rather than an App Store install.
