Field notes
The founders describe continuing a family connection to the land: Kenneth and Janie tended the property for decades, and their son Tait and Andry now make a home there. The site says the resident dogs and cat were already in place before the rescue had a name, and that deer and raccoons are welcome neighbors. It also points to a future sunflower fund and club, while noting that giving options are still on the way.
