Beacon of the Throne: a bathroom-finding map
A community map for finding and reviewing bathrooms, with filters for accessibility, single-stall rooms, and public access.
- For
- People looking for public or accessible bathrooms on the go
- Worth noticing
- Listings can be tagged single-stall, accessible, and public-access; the site warns that access and opening hours may be inaccurate.
Field notes
The submission form accepts a location name and street address, then lets contributors place the spot on a map or use their current location. Reviewers rate cleanliness and privacy, and a reporting flow covers incorrect access details, closures, spam, harassment, and safety concerns. The captured page showed the map still loading, so it does not establish how many listings are available. Installation instructions describe adding the web app to a home screen rather than downloading a store app.
