A browser-based preflight tool checks picture-book PDFs for bleed, trim, and margin issues, with a free three-page check.

Landing page captured for the 2026-11-05 issue.

For: Picture-book creators preparing PDFs for KDP printing
Worth noticing: Its free dimension calculator gives an 8.5-inch square book with bleed as an example: 8.625 by 8.75 inches.

Field notes

The page lays out separate checks for page interiors, cover wraps, and broader PDF preflight, with individual prices and a $29 bundle. Its example dimension calculation turns KDP's cited 0.125-inch bleed into an export size for an 8.5-inch square book. The site also says the tool is independent of Amazon/KDP and recommends confirming results in the official previewer.
