A free, open-source Windows disk analyzer that maps storage use in a clickable treemap.

Landing page captured for the 2026-11-05 issue.
For
Windows users tracking down disk-space hogs
Worth noticing
Without administrator rights, it falls back to parallel folder walking and supports exFAT, ReFS, USB, and network drives.

Field notes

With administrator rights, the app reads NTFS's Master File Table in parallel; without them, it walks folders in parallel, and the latter path also covers exFAT, ReFS, USB, and network drives. The page says hard links are counted once, compressed and sparse files by their actual occupied space, and filesystem metadata is shown separately. It also describes deletion as confirmation-gated, sent to the Recycle Bin, with system files refused.
