Field notes
The installation occupies a 2.50 × 2.50 m concession at the cemetery in Mons-en-Montois; its vault opens from the front beneath gravel. Seven Saint-Maximin limestone blocks were selected at the Ouachée-Corpechot quarry and shaped in the courtyard of the village’s art-house cinema. The page preserves a dated paper trail, including a 2010 letter from Patricia Legrand and press pieces through 2015, alongside credits for the carving and installation.
