Box Puzzle: the geometry of getting a parcel out the door
A Korean-language packing calculator that recommends carton sizes, shows product layouts in 3D, and compares parcel-shipping costs.
- For
- Korean online sellers comparing cartons and parcel rates
- Worth noticing
- Its FAQ says the time-bounded layout search does not guarantee the smallest possible arrangement.
Field notes
Users can enter product dimensions, quantity, padding clearance, and a number of cartons, then inspect suggested layouts in a rotatable 3D view. The carton-size search checks Korea Post sizes from 0 through 5, including 2-1, estimating interior dimensions by subtracting 0.6–1.4 cm from published exterior dimensions; the page tells users to verify actual measurements before buying. Saved product and box measurements stay in the current browser and do not sync across devices.
