- For
- Families sharing and maintaining a home book collection
- Worth noticing
- It distinguishes a book’s work, edition, and individual physical copies, including where each copy is stored.
Field notes
The catalog form separates a work from its editions and lets households record multiple physical copies with their locations, alongside recommender, source, and reason for keeping a book. Lookup can query Douban, Open Library, and Google Books, though Douban’s automatic retrieval is marked restricted in the hosted environment. The page also warns that an older list may remain in a different browser or app context, and provides JSON export and import.
