FORG3D’s annotated, checked G-code
A design-and-post service for gunsmiths and small shops: send a part request and machine details, and FORG3D says it returns an annotated CNC program with supporting checks.
- For
- Gunsmiths and small shops using CNC mills
- Worth noticing
- A sample program marks its practice part as not checked on a real part, alongside a stated 0.0001-inch STEP-matching check.
Field notes
FORG3D describes a shop-submission workflow: a customer supplies a part request and machine, and the service returns an annotated program, a stock-replay check, setup and inspection materials, and a marked practice part. The page says reference-machine runs have been tested, but its rollout labels conflict: one says no outside shop has been served, while another says a pilot is in use with outside shops. Listed prices are explicitly estimates to test with the first ten shops.
